The Chalk-Board at the Heifer, makes great use of the availability of local, seasonal produce. We keep an eye on anything that we can use to create interesting and delicious special meals, to offer that little bit of "something different" to our customers.

We take note of what was very popular on previous boards, and bring it back at regular intervals and also take notice of customer's suggestions, which can sometimes prove to be very useful.

The board is changed as and when required, which can mean additions daily and usually there are a few changes during each week.

A Sunday Lunch Carvery Board is displayed on, yes, Sunday Lunchtime. with the details of the choices of roast meats and the "trimmings", choice of the weekend selection of vegetables, and of course the Yorkshire Pudding.
