Artists impression of the view of the building from the outside. this will have a covered area with lighting and heaters, protected by glazed screens surrounding. Access to pub areas is via two new glazed patio doors, replacing the existing bay windows.

All new seating is being proposed along with a new wooden floor in the main dining area. This area could also be cleared more easily on Sunday "Band Nights" to allow for more room setting up and standing areas.

The Craven Heifer has just had an extensive refurbishment on the first and second floors. But now it;s time for the dining, drinking and bar areas.

The architects and designers at Punch Taverns have been in consultation, and have now come up with these proposals.

It is a radical change from the present decor, when the other pubs in the village are basically similar in beiing of dark wood, carpets and stone walls. It is much cleaner in its design and lighter in general atmosphere. Still retaining the essential ambience of a country pub combined with a more modern approach to the expectations of a drinking and dining cafe-bar.

An artists impression of the view towards the bar from the main entrance. The bar serving area has been reduced to enable the opening up of a 'snug' type comfortable area which will be carpeted.

The bar will have a ceramic tiled floor, with a stone flagged area at the rear entrance area to the 'snug'.
